We were honored to be part of the joyful celebration as Baswarians and their friends came together to mark Basware’s 40th anniversary. Our brief was in two parts: first, setting the stage for a full day seminar that was held at the Clarion Hotel Jätkäsaari. And then escorting our Finnish and international guests to have a taste of some midsummer magic.

At Clarion, we invited our guests to enter a mystic innovation forest for all senses, right during their morning coffee. After all, what could be a more refreshing start to a morning than be greeted by a real forest? Seminar space was updated with company colours and small little notes to keep the seminar participants going all day. During the seminar’s meet & mingle, we invited the crowd to get into the mood for the evening ahead—teasing the night’s theme: Sailors ahoy—let’s hop on board and head for the midsummer island!

True to Finnish tradition, the weather was unmistakably “midsummery”—a little unpredictable, but that didn’t dampen spirits. The evening at Liuskasaari was rich with Finnish Midsummer traditions, dancing, nature, delicious seasonal food, and even a hidden gem: the Salakapakka, a secret bar only accessible to those holding a mysterious currency.

It was a fantastic day and night, filled with great energy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Thank you, Basware, for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful milestone!
