Summer Celebrations

Every other summer, we have the pleasure of joining our friends at Visit Finland to create the Midnight Sun Seminar – a two-day event showcasing the very best of Finland as a travel destination.

Each year this event takes place in a different Finnish city. Over the years, this midsummer magic has been present in Tampere, Turku and Rovaniemi, and this summer it was Espoo and Helsinki’s turn to host this inspiring gathering.

Travel professionals from around the world came together to experience Finland and discover what makes it such a unique and unforgettable destination. From the iconic Temppeliaukio Church to a scenic tram ride and the Aalto University School of Business, the programme offered a little glimpse into life in the capital region. Lively discussions and one-to-one meetings took place in the inspiring setting of Hobo Helsinki.

Kelkkaprojekti was once again responsible for the visual concept and overall atmosphere. Nature, the spirit of Finnish Midsummer, the host cities’ brand colours, and a relaxed summer celebration formed the theme throughout the event.The dance floor came alive with flower crowns, laughter and the magic of a Nordic midsummer night. A huge thank you to Visit Finland for trusting us to bring this special event to life once again!
