Flower Crowns from CDG to LHR

Midsummer Magic is a theme worth travelling for. Kelkkaprojekti joined Visit Finland, Finnair and the lively team of representatives from various Finnish travel destinations with a suitcase full of flower crown supplies. Our journey began with a warm welcome from the Finnish Embassy in Paris. The idea was to make our international guests understand what summer in Finland feels like and what happens, when you put 7 different flowers under your pillow on Midsummer Eve.

While we crafted flower crowns, we listened to our guests share the moments they fell in love with Finland: by a quiet lake, during early hours in Helsinki, under the northern lights, or simply in complete silence.

Next stop was London, Kensington Palace Gardens, to be exact. We got to spend an evening at the Ambassador’s residence spreading the love for Finland and Midsummer traditions in the lush garden.

Marketing Finland is close to our hearts and the best way to do it is by creating something fun and meaningful. Scents, colours, emotions.
